Recently the news was shared that Samsung is coming out with its latest Galaxy Note 8. But look like, it isn’t the only thing which is in line to be unleashed to the public. The Note is being unveiled on 23rd August, but there will also be a launch of a wearable device with its newest flagship smartphone. This device will be none other than moniker ‘s ‘Samsung Gear Sport’. The gear happily passed the FCC (Federal Communications Commission)
Since clearing the FCC, the product is all set to get released in the market very soon, and it is being predicted that break the records of the market. The company made use of last year’s IFA trade show to introduce a new Gear Fitness band and by the looks of it, they could apply the same strategy. They will have an ample amount of time because the award show lasts from 1st September to 6th September, helping the company to garner a huge crowd.
The leaks suggest that the device will be embedded with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and, Samsung’s own Tizen OS. These are the pretty standard specifications for a gear fitness band, add ons haven’t really been introduced by the company to us. We can predict that since the gear has “Sports” to its name, the gear could be more about a fitness band instead of being a smartwatch.
The speculations were confirmed when Sammobile noticed an addition to the company’s website page. The support page is called “Gear Fit2 Pro Large”. Any person could discern that there is a gear ready to be launched. But we will have to tarry as the concrete list of features hasn’t been released yet. We are anticipating that this year they will launch their Gear Sport and the Gear Fit2 Pro unlike last year when they launched Gear Classic and Gear Frontier smart watches.
The gear, already making news is said to be IP68-certified with a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED screen and 1440×2960 resolutions. The makers have planned it to be the “Infinity” display resulting in minimal bezels on top and bottoms. The dimensions are being discussed to be 162.5×74.6×8.5mm. Phablet is set to be on the company’s own Exynos 8895 for select markets. Rejoice, US citizens, as yours will be made with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor variant. 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage the users are free to expand it to 128GB through a microSD card.
